Women in Tech East Coast 2020 is proud to be hosted in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is among the largest exhibition centres in the Northeastern United States. The center is located on Summer Street near the South Boston waterfront, Boston’s World Trade Centre, and across the harbour from Logan International Airport – making it the fastest airport to convention centre time in the country.
Getting to the event
Boston’s geographical location makes it an ideal and easy gateway for both national and international access and gives you access to the most valuable attendee base within a two-hour travel radius of any city in North America. The BCEC is conveniently located just minutes away from Boston’s major highways and is easily accessible from Boston’s Logan Airport as well as South Station. Whether it’s by car, train, or bus, getting to and from the BCEC couldn’t be easier! You have many options.
The BCEC is a one-minute drive from interstate highways I-90 and I-93, and easily accessible from I-95. Driving directions are available in the PDF below, or view and customize based on your starting point in Google Maps.
To self-park ($20 and $40 for oversized vehicles), from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive, drive past the valet area, and continue straight along the side of the building. At the end of the building, make a right and go down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left and you will see the entrance to the South Parking lot in front of you. Accessible parking spaces are also located in this lot, closest to the building (the same parking rates apply).
Valet parking is available for $30. To access from Summer Street, turn onto East Side Drive and the valet area will be immediately on your right. The venue accept cash and all major credit cards.
Logan is an eight minute taxi ride from the BCEC, or you can use the MBTA’s Silver Line to and from the airport. The Silver Line is complimentary from Logan Airport and stops at the Seaport/World Trade Center Stop just across the street from the BCEC. Take the Silver Line back to the airport for only $2.75.
The BCEC is steps away from the MBTA’s Silver Line World Trade Center stop, which is the same subway line that services Logan Airport. It’s also a 15-minute walk from South Station, one of Boston’s major transportation hubs. South Station provides local services via bus, subway (Red Line), and the regional Commuter Rail, plus service across the country through Amtrak and bus.
Boston is ripe with car service options. Let one of their transportation agents hail you a taxi cab, or use a rideshare company such as Uber, Lyft, or Zipcar.
