Women in Tech East Coast is Back in 2020!

February 21, 2020 | Katrina Hinrichsen

We're thrilled to announce that the leading conference for female tech professionals on the East Coast will be returning to Boston on October 19-20, 2020. Here's what you can expect!

Following the inaugural conference last year, Women in Tech East Coast will be returning to the Boston Convention Center this Fall for two days of invigorating discussions, thought leadership and networking opportunities to impassion the tech sector.

We've listened to feedback from over four years of sell-out events in our global Women in Tech World Series to ensure that the second installment of Women in Tech East Coast is even bigger and better than before.

You'll be treated to a career-tailored program, with three main stages of best-in-class speakers, 2,800 workshop spaces and a range of technical and soft skills sessions to help empower you as one of the US' future tech leaders.

What's new for 2020?

As well as numerous themed sessions, we've added plenty of exciting new features to this year's conference to ensure you have the best experience possible.

You can look forward to:

  • A Career Advice Clinic
  • A Professional Matchmaking Service
  • A Wellness Zone
  • A New Event App

"Packed with the most inspiring women in technology, where every story and experience, every workshop and talk is relevant and every piece of advice another crack in the glass ceiling."

What's on the agenda?

The jam-packed agenda will cater to professionals at every stage of their career, from those scoping out whether a job in tech is for them, to CEOs who want to learn more about how to take their business to new heights of success.

There will be a range of themes to delve into: Women in Tech Leadership 2020, The Evolution of Work, Emerging Technologies, Elephant in the Room, Entrepren-HER, Power Skills, Software Workshops and Tech Talks - A Beginner's Guide / Advanced.

The sessions will be focused on giving women the tools they need to leverage their career and close the prevailing gender gap in the tech industry. With so many emerging opportunities in the sector, it's more important than ever that the tech industry fosters a diverse and inclusive environment that will positively impact the products and services it creates.

Who's speaking?

Last year we had a stellar line-up of speakers, from pioneering organizations such as Google, Oracle, TripAdvisor, Accenture, Spotify and more.

Women in Tech East Coast 2020 will promise even more speakers, with 100+ industry leaders taking to the stage to share their valuable insights.

You can expect to hear from incredible figures from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Marilyn McDonald, SVP of Product Management - Technical at Mastercard
  • Michel Ballard, VP and GM of Data Monetization at Condé Nast
