Rashi Khurana

Rashi is a Vice President of Engineering at Shutterstock where she oversees the front end E-commerce, Platform and Mobile engineering teams. Since joining Shutterstock in 2016, Rashi helped lead three teams through a technology transformation, all the while managing day-to-day operations of delivering a quality product to customers. Rashi is passionate about managing teams of engineers to deliver above expectations everyday and building resiliency into all initiatives.

Rashi earned a MA degree in Information Technology and Management at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, she worked at Orbitz in Chicago for seven years before moving to New York City.

Carrie Parikh

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Data and Privacy Officer @ New Jersey Office of Information Technology

Carrie Parikh is Chief Operating Officer at the New Jersey Office of Information Technology. She also serves as the State’s first Chief Privacy Officer. She is responsible for setting up and administering New Jersey’s first privacy program. Prior to this, she was Vice President, Legal at Wyndham Hotel Group. In this role, Carrie provided vision, leadership, and direction to attorneys, paralegals and privacy professionals, and worked closely with executive leadership Prior to her position as VP, Carrie was Senior Counsel, Lead Global Privacy and Data Security where she managed the company’s global privacy and data security program. Before joining Wyndham, Carrie was a Claims Manager for Technology, Media and Business Services claims at Beazley where she handled complex E&O claims in the tech and media world as well as privacy and health care breaches.

Carrie received her BA from Syracuse University and JD from Rutgers University-Newark. She regularly speaks across the US on privacy and data security topics. She has been featured in Modern Counsel Magazine and received several honors and awards as a lawyer and privacy professional.

Rekha Kamat

Rekha Kamat comes from a deep technical background within R&D and, prior to that, customer success. Her interests include data science, security, and digitalization initiatives that drive business transformation.

Rekha holds a MA in Computer Science from Northeastern University in Boston, and a BA in Computer Engineering. She has additional qualifications in Artificial Intelligence, Leadership, and Management from MIT Sloan, Harvard University, and Boston University.

Recognized by Boston Business Journal as a 40 Under 40 Honoree and by the Women’s Forum for Economy and Society as an Outstanding Global Rising Talent, Rekha was the Graduate Commencement alumni speaker at Northeastern University Khoury College of Computer Science.

Rekha is a passionate advocate for women in technology. She leads the North America Women’s Initiative (WIN NAM) at Dassault Systèmes, is a STEM Ambassador, and serves on the 2020 Women on Boards Boston Steering Committee.

In 2017 she was an honoree and recipient of an ACT4 Award, recognized for her achievements in technology and advocacy for diversity, a Finalist for the Code/Interactive: Diversity in Tech Awards, listed on MIC’s 1,000 Women in Tech and Science Speakers and named among the Top 50 Visionary Women in Tech to Watch in 2017 by Innov8tiv Magazine. In 2016, she was recognized as a Changemaker for Innovation & Entrepreneurship by the United State of Women.
